Our Staff

Lisa, RVT
A Registered Veterinary Technician since 2001, Lisa also wears the hat of Office Manager when she is not Mom to her two young boys, Spencer and Conner. She and her husband have an English Bulldog and a German Shepherd and two cats. The family enjoys riding dirt bikes, camping, and scuba diving.

Robin
Is the Lead Receptionist at Steeplechase Animal Hospital and has worked in animal hospitals since 2000. She has completed all 5 levels of in-house ACT training and level 1 of CVA certification. She has a mixed breed dog “Rioh” and a friendly black cat with beautiful green eyes named Don Gato. Robin is able to keep her cool in the midst of this zoo!
Melissa, RVT
Is a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2000 and also graduated from TAMU with a degree in Geology in 1987. She started working with animals full time in 1994, hand raising and training numerous kinds of parrots. She worked at Gulf Coast Avian and Exotics for 8 years. She owns 2 dogs (one of which is a special needs patient), 3 cats, and 2 rabbits. If you click on our video tab, and then go to “A Fast-up on Rabbit Care: Safe Handling” you will be able to see Melissa arms and hands as she demonstrates the safe way to hold bunnies.

Stephani
Worked at other animals hospitals and the SPCA before joining us in September 2006. She has attended the Registered Veterinary Technician program in Tomball and is able to handle almost every task at the hospital. She has two kitties “Ba-Bear” and “Blister” and takes care of any strays. Stephani also provides us comic relief at work.

Jessica
Joined us in 2007 after working as a flight attendant. She is earning her wings with us learning the skills of a veterinary receptionist. She has completed 3 levels of the ACT training. She recently found a yellow lab mix puppy on the freeway and is treating him for heartworms. She is mom to a Russian Blue kitty (Stetson) and a brindle Boxer (Axel).
Brooke
Has been working at our clinic for almost 2 years as a Veterinary Assistant. By the end of the year, she will have completed her associate’s degree to become a Registered Veterinary Technician! She hopes to continue her education working towards becoming a future small animal/exotics veterinarian herself. She is currently owned by three Toy Poodles (Chloe, Jackson, and Winnie) as well as a Quaker Parakeet (George).
